5000 m2 outdoor showroom with architect-designed lighting columns – DENMARK’S FIRST COLUMN PARK

In September 2009, Alfred Priess A/S opened Denmark’s first, groundbreaking column park with architect-designed lighting columns.

We are convinced that it is easier to make the major choice of which columns to use in future when you can experience the designer columns at their proper 1:1 scale in natural environment. For this reason we have invested in a 5000 m2 outdoor showroom for the benefit of our clients and business contacts.

The column park features a wide range of the architect-designed columns we produce and distribute, including Architectural Lighting Columns, which comprises CitySwan, Filigran and Entasis. In addition, there are designer wooden columns by the French firm Aubrilam, and ALUROUND aluminium columns by Dutch Nedal; we are agents for both of these.
In the future, the park will also be stocked with the many columns we produce as customised solutions – the first new items will be in place around June 2010.

To ensure the columns are seen in their proper setting, in harmony with the design of the park, we asked GHB LANDSKABSARKITEKTERNE A/S to design the park’s layout. We are extremely satisfied with the result.
